The president of the United States, Barack Obama is arriving late to APEC and New Zealand is not waiting around for him.
Prime Minister John Key says we'll look elsewhere for free trade deals.
He has just announced a new deal with Hong Kong.
Key says we can't just sit on our hands and wait for the United States.
