The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took part in a range of activities including a cookery class at a charity that supports homeless young people in Britain.

Footage showed William and Kate preparing traditional Christmas mince pies and other food with members of the charity.

Later they were shown a video montage with images of their wedding.

Prince William, along with his brother Prince Harry, had visited the charity as children with their mother, late Diana, Princess of Wales. She was an active supporter of the charity.

Late Princess Diana was a long-standing supporter of Centrepoint and became its patron in 1992.

Prince William has been the patron since 2005.
