Based on the iconic videogame, the film follows an adventurous prince who teams up with a rival princess to stop an angry ruler from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy the world.
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton and Ben Kingsley. It is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Caribbean, Top Gun) and directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire).
The film is scheduled to open in New Zealand May 27, 2010.
