The Tongan Royal Commission inquiry into the sinking of the ferry Princess Ashika will resume its hearing after a two week adjournment.
74 people lost their lives when the Ashika sank off Tonga in August.
The inquiry has already heard damning evidence from a number of witnesses including from Captain Viliami Tuputupu who said he knew the ship was unseaworthy.
He says he sailed anyway because Tonga's Marine and Ports Division had deemed the vessel safe to operate.
The Commission has already announced it won't be issuing a preliminary finding - but will continue public hearings in Nuku'alofa today and release a full report in March next year.
