The Whanganui School of Design spent two years looking for an academic manager before finally hiring Texan woman Betsy Berger. She left her family behind for an idyllic life in New Zealand only to find within a year the school was restructuring and her job was gone. But Betsy says there's more to it. She believes New Zealand discriminates against people who are forthright and fat.
