A magnitude 4.3 earthquake has shaken the Wellington region today.
The quake, which hit at 8.09am, was centred 10km northwest of Porirua at a depth of 50km, GNS Science reported.
The tremor would have been felt on the Kapiti Coast and in the Wellington region.
