Why is it that most Santas on display, and on cards, look like 5 year old boys wearing lipstick and a cotton wool beard? He's supposed to be an old man!!! ok i was in auckland today and saw santa for the fuirst time in my life i preferd the old santa the beckoning finger was awsome and so wat if he looked creepy he was made 50 years ago
For the PC brigade, I reckon we should've kept the winking finger, but turned the finger to point upward instead.

What has our society come to? This is ridiculous for 50 years no one has thought it was creepy or paedophile looking. I think it has ruined a part of history. It has always had a moving finger and winking eye. I agree with Kelly, it is definately a downgrade, extremly boring. It may have looked a little creepy but that was what drew everyones attention and made them look. Definately not a fan.
$100,000 cud've gone towards more "useful" things..they should spend money more thoughtfully.. plus he doesnt look THAT great.

oh no! theyv european-ised it wit blue eyes!! haha wata crak up. the scary wink n the demented face wz the highlight of christmas season, always gave us a good laugh n a cheer! nw its just a still-ugly, boring, non-winking santa.. nothing special. what a downgrade.
