The recent rock slide at Aroaki is another warning from nature, just like the one on the Milford road,ie- not to tamper with mother nature such as boring a tunnel for so called shortcuts from the Routeburn to the Hollyford for the convenience of Queenstown tourists, nor a road to the west coast in one the heaviest rainfall areas on this planet.. Dont mess with nature as she will fight back!
