The Rabbitohs grabbed a last minute victory

It was an all Sydney affair as the lowly Roosters took on the sixth placed Rabbitohs.

And it was tit for tat rugby league in the first half, the bunnies Nathan Merrit and Andrew Everingham going over while a couple of Kiwis team mates got reacquainted, with Isaac Luke ending up on report.

So it was 12-4 bunnies at halftime but this match was all about the second 40.

Mitchell Pearce made it 22 - 12 with four minutes remaining before the bunnies pulled a rabbit out of the hat - first Nathan Merrit scored to make it a four point game, before the unthinkable with a minute to go.

The Rabbitohs with a last gasp 24-22 victory to hop inside the top four.
