I know the law says to leave them alone. However they also have very big teeth that makes giving them a wide berth a good idea. He looks harmless enough, but I wouldn't get too close.

The news announment scared most people by mentioning Wellington was hit by an earthquarke that reminded us of the Christchurch earthquarke and watching this poor seal looking for shelter is in the safe hand..
