Reality TV's newest stars are set to battle it out in the ring.
Jaime Ridge and The GC's Rosanna Arkle will put on the gloves and, in Arkle's case, a bikini.
The TV starlets have only just met, and in true reality style it was all caught on camera.
"I'm going to knock her out and go get some KFC," says Arkle.
The fight will be on the undercard for Shane Cameron's bout with Monte Barrett in July and both are already training.
“It's pretty cool to do it with everyone watching,” says Arkle. “But maybe it's bad thing? I don't know. We'll see. I just said yes!”
Arkle plans to fight in a bikini. But Ridge, the daughter of double-international Matthew Ridge, is training with former Warrior Monty Betham.
“I don't want to disrespect anyone in the boxing circle, so I'm definitely taking this as, you know, a fighter would take it,” says Ridge.
Ridge is the subject of an upcoming Kiwi Kardashians-style programme.
She was linked with All Black-become-boxer Sonny Bill Williams earlier this year, and says after watching him fight she's realistic about being injured.
“Breaking a nail? No. Bring hit in the face? Yeah obviously that's scary,” says Ridge. “But it's part of it. When you commit to something like this, you can't say ‘oh I don't want to be hit in the face’."
Ridge's mum reckons her girl will be a fighting force.
“Jaime's very strong willed anyway,” says Sally Ridge. “I think she's got her dad in her when it comes to that. She will give it 700 percent I would say. She will give it everything she's got.”
All will be revealed on July 5 when the girls put on the gloves and, in Rosanna's case, a bikini.
