Retribution for fallen Kiwi soldiers

3News NZ

United States Special Forces may take retribution action against Afghani insurgents responsible for killing Kiwi troops.

It is understood four SAS intelligence officers are on a fact-finding mission in the war-town country, having left an Air Force base in New Zealand last week.

“They’re working on trying to get better intelligence on the IED bombers and those that undertook the insurgent attacks against our people,” Prime Minister John Key said when he confirmed the mission today.

Mr Key says the intelligence will be used to build a case against the insurgents responsible for the deaths of five kiwi troops last month.

I heard they picked up a teen-aged boy last week. They held him in an interrogation cell to scare him. They didn't say anything about building a case. Said they picked him up because they reckoned he'd been trying to make IED shells out of tin cans. Don't know what happened to the poor kid after that, could have been shot.

I don't think NZ'ers want to be like America *Key*! Gathering Itel is best done if it's a surprise.I don't think the Worlds view of us is as good as it once was. So I doubt tourism will create more jobs? not to mention your choices here may put us at risk? SOPA, PIPA & ACTA didn't wash very well with the World, So taking down Kim DotCom for corporate US bullies didn't do us any favors.

Revenge killings? I thought we were working towards rule of law in Afghanistan. Nothing wins locals over like killing the local lads.
