The All Blacks’ clean sweep of the Rugby Championship with their 32-16 win against the Springboks in Soweto was also a milestone win for skipper Richie McCaw.

In his 112th test he notched up his 100th test win, in a victory the 31-year-old rated one of the best in his illustrious career.

The true greatness and exceptional heart of this very special NZer I hope shall be cherished and held up as a awesome example for future fans/players long after he has hung up his battle-scarred boots. I find it difficult to name any that will challenge the claim that he will be known as the greatest All Black of all time. And that would pretty much make him the greatest rugby player of all time.
