Rihanna has become one of only 11 female acts to spend 10 weeks or more atop the US singles charts after scoring another term at number one with ‘We Found Love’.

The Calvin Harris collaboration is the biggest hit for a woman since Beyonce spent 10 weeks at the summit with Irreplaceable in 2006 and 2007.

Also racking up 10 weeks at the top: Debby Boone's ‘You Light Up My Life’, ‘Physical’ by Olivia Newton-John and Ashanti's ‘Foolish’.

Rihanna has another six weeks to go before she can challenge Mariah Carey, who spent 16 weeks at number one with her Boyz II Men duet ‘One Sweet Day’ in 1995. Carey also ties the second spot with Whitney Houston - her ‘We Belong Together’ and Houston's ‘I Will Always Love You’ both scored 14 weeks on top.

Rihanna's run is expected to end next week as Adele's ‘Set Fire to the Rain’ races up the Billboard Hot 100 to land at two this week.

Flo Rida's ‘Good Feeling’ jumps up to three.
