Three firework operators suffered serious burns and 25 others were treated for minor injuries

Twenty eight people have been injured after a rogue firework set off thousands of others in the bell tower of a Spanish church.

The fireworks were in a pack designed to shoot mini-rockets 300 meters into the air before exploding but a firework fired from somewhere else landed on the pack and lit the fuses.

Sparks and burning material fell on people gathered for a festival below.
