The gloves are off ahead of the charity boxing fight between Rosanna Arkle – of The GC fame – and Jaime Ridge, with Ms Arkle accusing her opponent of being too heavy for the fight.
Arkle took to social media today to slate her opponent’s lack of weight loss.
“Pretty f*** off finding out that my opponent has completly ignored instructions to loose 5kg for our fight while ive been striving to get from 52kg to 55kg,” Arkle wrote on her Facebook page, before later removing the message.
“Happily siting on her arse at 60kg Shows whos taking this seriously! If you were in the real world lil missy you'd have to do skipping ropes all night to make weight!”
In a later post, Arkle alleged Ridge is purposely choosing not to lose the weight.
“Why else would you call a fight with someone smaller than you with no intention of loosing the weight like you were told to do? Jus saying!”
However, as far as Arkle is concerned, the fight will still be going ahead as planned.
“Fight still ONNN like donkey kong! Excited!”
Arkle’s comments have been supported by actress Keisha Castle-Hughes, who voiced her backing for the would-be bikini fighter through her Twitter account.
“Team ROSIE!” wrote Ms Castle-Hughes, while re-tweeting another message of support from New Zealand’s Next Top Model winner Danielle Hayes.
“BOOM! you tell her sista!!” wrote Ms Hayes.
