Many of the flowers that will adorn Westminster Abbey on the day of the royal wedding have been revealed.

Royal Wedding Florist, Shane Connolly at Windsor Great Park where many of the flowers and plants for the wedding are being sourced, proudly showed the flowers to the media.

Connolly said right from the beginning bride-to-be Catherine wanted everything to be seasonal, British, elegant and understated.

"So I suggested we approach the royal estates and Prince William spoke with Her Majesty who was delighted to supply these things from here," Connolly said.

Middleton's family florist, Emma Sampson, was coy about giving away too many details of the flower arrangements.

"I think we're all going to have to wait for the day to find that one out and I think every bride wants it to be a big reveal," Sampson said.

Catherine Middleton is set to marry Prince William at Westminster Abbey on Friday.
