The Rugby World Cup has seen an influx of overseas visitors into the major centres.

As well as needing nice hotels and fancy restaurants, some have more specific requirements, like swinging.

There are 90,000 people in town for the World Cup all with different want, needs, and desires.

Some have a desire to swing, which has is why Spartys, a popular swingers club in central Auckland, exists.

Typically people go to Spartys with a partner, to meet other partners, and then swap.

Owner Sharon Jackson says their business is well up and that's thanks to the Rugby World Cup.

“We have people from all over NZ and from overseas. We've had a huge increase in people enquiring about what we're doing in terms of the World Cup,” she says.

Mrs Jackson says swingers like to be organised ahead of time, as it's not like you can find swinging partners in the white pages.

The World Cup has seen their business double on some nights, visitors wanting a safe place they can do some partner swapping.

It's worth noting above the basket of condoms they've installed a brand new hi-def TV, so people can root for their favourite team.
