Ryan Gosling has a beaten and bloodied face in new photos leaked from the set of his new film, Only God Forgives.
The Hollywood hearththrob thrilled audiences last year in Nicolas Winding Refn’s Drive and is currently filming his next film with the Danish director in Thailand.
Gosling plays an ex-boxer-turned-gangster who fights a Bangkok police lieutenant to avenge the death of his brother. He is said to have trained hard at Muay Thai for the role.
Gosling has described the script as “the strangest thing I've ever read and it's only going to get stranger”.
Kristin Scott Thomas also stars in the film along with Thai actors Vithaya Pansringarm and Yayaying.
