Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen has made a career out of mocking people, and it looked like he had gone too far when his alter-ego Bruno met a Palestinian man he branded a “terrorist”.

But, the so-called “militant in hiding” was not so hard to track down - now he is planning to sue Cohen for defamation.

Ayman Abu Aita is depicted in Bruno as terrorist from the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade.

He is actually in the Fatah party and was only rumoured to be in Al Aqsa. He was jailed by the Israelis, but charges were never brought and he was released.

Abu Aita is particularly disappointed because he says he agreed to be in the film after being told it would be about the problems of the Palestinian people.

Abu Aita is now suing both Baron Cohen and Universal Pictures.

Well, "terrorist" is just a stupid lable anyway. It's like the phrase "bad guy"---it doesn't really mean or explain much, it's just what anyone calls their enemies.

Americans have been tricked into equating "terrorist" with "Muslim", because the U.S. wants to control Middle Eastern oil production & pipelines. So we conveniently had a "terrorist attack" that justified our invasion of two seperate countries in this oil-rich region...
