Funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen is in final negotiations to join the all-star cast of Quentin Tarantino's new slavery western Django Unchained.
The British star is slated to play a gambler who buys the wife of Jamie Foxx's vengeful slave character, according to Variety.
Although it’s only a relatively minor part, it’s an important one according to Variety, and Tarantino specifically sought Cohen for the role.
If he signs on, he'll join Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Samuel L Jackson, Don Johnson, Kurt Russell and Kerry Washington in the film, which is scheduled to start shooting early next year.
