The principal of a Northland school has had enough after his school has been broken into 20 times this year.

In the latest theft at Kaikohe Intermediate the food from their cooking class was taken. The vandals also stole the pots the food was in, their cutlery and the nets students use to catch fish.

The students are upset, because they share the food with kids who can't afford to bring a lunch to school.

School vandalism is unfortunately common - but this sounds like a new low, and what does it say about the vandals that broke in?
