We have not been paid .we spent an hour on the phone to talk to a person ,sent three emails. There ihas been no response . They sent a pay slip saying we had been paid. This a national crisis and no one is saying "novapay employ more staff and sort it" no one is taking responsibility.

I know I would be unhappy about not recieving my full pay coming up to Christmas, with families to provide for. I agree with Jill corkin, where is the motivation for the most important people in our country.. The ones who are set to inspire our next generation.

It seems Novopay has implemented a new strategy to cut call centre waiting times. Helpdesk staff advised (midway through a conversation) this morning that my phone call had to be terminated because they were only allowed to speak for 5 minutes so they could then answer more incoming calls. While they then transfer you to someone else (one of a team of three!!!), the call waiting time there doesn't get counted!!!!

I have returned back from maternity leave in July this year. My first two payments when I came back were fine. The system then changed over to Novapay. The first pay was reduced. The second pay I only got $300 (usually I receive $2,200) I have just received my latest pay from last week and it has also been reduced. I have had no letter from the Ministry of Education stating why my pay has been reduced and the money got taken from my salary without any notice. I have a mortgage and a 10 month old baby who is at home with his Dad. My school has followed this up only to tell me I was over paid 'holiday pay' because I returned to work earlier than planned. I have been given no proof of this 'over payment' and no notice to say how much money they are taking out of each pay which has been different the last 3 pay periods. I accept the possibility that I have been over paid some how but no one has made contact with me to show me how much so I can budget for this change. I am feeling very frustrated and this is an added stress that I don't need during Term 4 teaching and writing reports. Now I am worrying about balancing money to pay for bills, groceries, mortgage and to live!

We're a small school. Half the staff haven't been paid for over a month!
When the office rings Novopay it's a 20 minute wait at least.
I hope tomorrow everyone will be paid. It's terrible.

A fulltime teacher has been paid just 50% of her normal pay.Reliever not paid for 21 September.Fulltime teacher has bot been paid the correct scale. When I talk or email Novopay I'm told to do a form which has already been sent several times. Basically wasting my time doing something as a duplicate.Till todate the pay reports are wrong, when the reports will be fixed ???? (don't know, frustrating and a real stress.

Not happy about this! Haven't been paid since Novopay began. Im afraid of what is going to happen in the school holidays when our admin staff are on holiday, as they are the only ones allowed to ring through to Novopay. Looks like my kids won't have a christmas this year!

This is unbelievable! Imagine if the banks did this to your bank account . . .
I worked in the computer industry from 1964 until 1994 and in every case systems were thoroughly tested before going into 'live' mode. This system has OBVIOUSLY not been tested.
What is the Ministry doing paying teachers like this anyway? Why are they not paying schools lump sums so the school uses MYOB or a similar standard payroll package to pay their own staff?

Campbell live could ask the Ministry just how many millions they have spent at least if not longer over the past ten years trying to get Datacom (with their oracle based payroll program) out of the payroll contract that they had with MOE and includes the failed "talent2" payroll system that never eventuated. They seemed to have a never ending budget for that one!
Are the Christchurch School's now being made a scapegoat for the Ministry's failure to achieve saving by increasing class sizes and getting rid of intermediates
