Nokia has just launched its latest addition to the Eseries range, the E75, featuring a number of consumer and corporate email solutions.

The full QWERTY Nokia E75 is the first to ship with Nokia’s new email user interface and comes standard with Nokia Messaging - an email application designed specifically to support mobile email.

Nokia Messaging mobilises ISP’s email solutions on Nokia devices giving access to personal and business email accounts.

The handset can manage up to 10 email accounts from usual providers, (Yahoo!Xtra, Hotmail, Gmail and AOL) - as well as company accounts.

“Nokia Messaging is a key part of our strategy to take mobile email to the masses. Email on the go should not be a service that is available to the select few, but a way of communication that is accessible and affordable for all consumers,” says Emile Baak, general manager Nokia Australia and New Zealand.

The Nokia E75 supports Mail for Exchange (Microsoft Exchange Activesync) and IBM Lotus Notes Traveler Mail with no additional infrastructure costs or user licensing fees.

“With direct access to Microsoft Exchange and IBM Lotus Notes on the Nokia E75, companies can potentially save up to a third of their operating costs as there’s no need for middleware or additional servers,” said Baak.

The latest Eseries devices strive to deliver a full desktop email experience, minus the PC.

The email interface includes folder and HTML email support, expandable views, sorting capability, as well as the most commonly used email functions.

Other functions include improved calendar capability, as well as contacts and task management.

The Nokia E75 comes in the wake of a successful year for Eseries, with more than 10 million units shipped globally in 2008.

The E75 went on sale in New Zealand on  May 29, 2009.
