Scientists get first clear look at Tongariro

Scientists have had their first real chance to see the site of the eruption on Mt Tongariro.
The volcano erupted late on Monday night, but helicopters were kept away because of the ash and low cloud made visibility even worse.
Early this morning the weather was clear and Mt Tongariro was visible from the ground.
