This may sound stupid but you should start targeting the the young and find out what Johnny Depp view is on this? Being he so famous as a pirot! I think he would be sicken by this and his popularity would have people take notice! and he is the type that do what he felt was right with out giving a shit what anyone thinks.

Hi Jack, ( if Jack is actually your name) The Ady Gill was low on fuel but not out of fuel. She was to make her way north to rendezvous with the Steve Irwin. She was dead in the water as the Bob Barker traveled passed so Petes crew could wave good bye. There was no way the Bob Barker traveling away from the Ady at the time could ever have turned and raced up to defend the Ady. Pete even accepted he was negligent after Maritime NZ released their report. Ive never heard or been on board when a skipper has climbed onto the side of a Sea Shepherd ship and laughed and thumbed his nose at an on coming Harpoon ship. You may just like Pete think that its a big fun game chasing the fleet but the Japanese And other Sea Shepherd captains dont think like that. Pete was on the fleet for only a few hours and then through his own negligence( which he agrees) had a Sea Shepherd ship destroyed. There are no "rumours" being spread Jack. Just facts. As for why Sea Shepherd employees get fired or leave is none of my business. These things happen in every Org. Pete never took the high ground. He made demands and sent a very clear blackmail letter and then went and tried to discredit Sea Shepherd (like his email said he would) when he didnt get what he was demanding. Pete doesnt have many friends in Sea Shepherd or in NZ. All those i know or speak with think Pete is a complete clown. It was the Breakfast show who said they always got a ton of emails against Whaling but had never had so many negative emails about Pete bethune and Whaling like they had after an interview he gave on the show. Not everyone likes Paul Watson and alot dislike Pete Bethune. But man one has a very long and successful history in Marine Conservation and one has about 4 hours and a Guatemalan fisherman's death in their history. But im glad we agree on our weak Government stand

Love the ones who know very little about very little but come out to show what knobs they are fact of the matter is this...Watson on the very show Whale Wars demanded that they continue the chase with the Ady ''''gil John(if that is indeed your name)She finally was so low on juice she was basically dead in the water...hence wht she surged just before being rammed by the SM2. Chuck Swift the captain of the BB basically left Pete out to dry...didnt try and cut off the SM2 instead allowed it to be rammed. all very well for a no name such as your self to come here and give a view...Here's a question why in america have three top management just been fired ? and another Kim walked away from this org ? A lot of members of SSCS work hard to fight for whales and I have no problems with them and support them, However not all people working to save the Cetaceans support Paul Watson and see Paul as an egotist who has issues with anyone who might be perceived as a threat to his pedastal. Funnily enough, or trajically Watson is the one who along with his few Zealots who usually have never beeb closer to him than TV show continue to create rumours about Mr Bethune(like here) and yet Pete continues to hold the moral high ground does not say anything about Pete and STILL has many many friends with in SSCS Ship crews...I guess those people know him for who he is not as how people like "John" here try and portray him. and yes John on one thing we do agree on is the Gutlessness of this present Government to deal with either the Japanese Government or the Whaling Industry.

I love the passion Sea Shepherd has. They show how weak and pathetic our own government actually is when it comes to Whaling and the environment. Paul Watson has dedicated his life to Conservation. Its a pity clowns like Pete Bethune try and get involved. Mr Bethune did nothing good for the cause and destroyed an amazing boat in the process.
