A search is underway for a canoeist believed missing on Lake Te Anau in Fiordland.
The man, who is in his early 20s and from overseas, was last seen taking his red canoe to the lake about 10am on yesterday.
He has not been seen since, but it's believed he had a life jacket.
A helicopter was used to search the lake yesterday, but no sign was found of the man.
Police say a helicopter will be used in the search again today.
