Selena Gomez gushed that Shia LaBeouf was “so handsome” after meeting him for the first time.
The 18-year-old singer-and-actress met the 25-year-old Transformers star backstage at a television studio after she was told she was going to meet some eager young fans in a dressing room.
Selena, who posted the video on video sharing website YouTube last night, ran out of the room before Shia ran after her to introduce himself properly.
"Oh my gosh," she said when she set eyes on her crush, before quickly turning around and rushing out of the room. "Hey, nice to meet you," Shia said after running after her. "Hey, how are you? How you doin'? Thanks for being so sweet to me. You're really sweet to me."
Selena, who is in a high-profile relationship with teen sensation Justin Bieber, told the actor she “admired” him, before posing for a couple of photos together.
The brunette beauty gushed about the Hollywood actor shortly after meeting him.
"He's so cute," she said to her mom. "He's so handsome. I am so embarrassed. I walked right out."
Selena tweeted a link to the video with a message reading, "Best...Day...Ever."
Selena’s crush on Shia dates way back to October 2008, when she shouted to reporters on a red carpet, "Let Shia know I'm available!"
