I find it bizarre that a manslaughter charge can get up to 10 years in prison but a drink driving causing death charge in some cases you can avoid jail time altogether. I thought the two were pretty much the same thing (killing someone without intent) ... in my mind that's how it should be.

There should be a Inquest Each of the Judges from the prior cases should all be called... ... after all the system is very much in question here, and the Coroner may have a few recommendations Is it only 4 years for manslaughter?

I find it shocking that it is only four years. He has proven that he is unsafe to the public. Losing his license won't affect him considering he has driven disqualified for 19 times.

A harsher penalty is needed. He took a life, manslaughter, he must have known what he was doing was wrong considered the number of drink driving charges.

Three times and your out, not 17 or 36!

See, if he'd been shot at his first offence, this wouldn't have happened. Shoot drunk drivers on the spot so the rest of us are less likely to be harmed by these selfish filth.
