Anyway it would be far too complex and difficult to change.
If the main reason Peter Dunne suggested for making a change was hot school class rooms it would be better to provide all schools with solar panels so they could run heat pumps pumps on cool.
Futhermore we don't want all New Zealanders on holiday during our peak tourist season. Imagine the stresses and strains in our main tourist centres let alone the greater prices that will be charged there.

As the school holidays go to the end of January why not take a break then.Why must we follow like leamings to all go the the holiday destinations at the sametime .Best time to holiday is when everyone is gone back to work .Easier to get accommodation ,lighter traffic and less strain on ammenities .Holidaying with the masses is not a holiday.
