Hollywood producer Jon Peters has pulled plans to release an explosive memoir detailing Hollywoods most torrid secrets after he was threatened by a series of lawsuits from some of the industry's biggest players. The producer had agreed to a US$700,000 deal with publishers Harper-Collins for his insightful tome, titled Studio Head, which blew the lid on the behind-the-scenes goings-on of stars including his ex-girlfriend Barbra Streisand.
Actor Jorge Garcia celebrated his 36th birthday with Lost cast mates. They gave him a special gift: an iPod toilet paper holder, plus his very own plus-size toilet seat cushion with his name printed on it. Apparently Garcia has been complaining about the rock-hard loos on set.
Mariah Carey is with hubby Nick Cannon in Turkey and getting paid mega bucks for it. The singer is getting US$1.5 million to perform at the opening of "Europe's most expensive hotel," the Marden Palace Hotel in Antalya. Also flown in for the gala are Tom Jones, Sharon Stone, Richard Gere, Seal and Heidi Klum and Paris Hilton.
