Deep water oil exploration by Texan giant Anadarko is under scrutiny. It was 25 percent shareholder in the disastrous oil well that exploded in the Gulf of Mexico.
Anadarko are working off the coasts of Taranaki, Otago and Kaikoura over the next couple of months. And in Kaikoura, in particular, locals are not happy about it.
