Sir Alex Ferguson believes former Liverpool manager, Kenny Dalglish’s, handling of the Luis Suárez racism case was a contributing factor to his dismissal after a dismal Premier League campaign.
"I wasn't surprised at Kenny leaving," says Ferguson, reports The Guardian. "John Henry has obviously looked at that [the Suárez incident] and felt it wasn't handled in the right way. It certainly wasn't a nice thing to happen and it must have been part of it."
Suárez was found guilty of racial abuse by the Football association and an eight-match ban and £40,000 fine followed.
