Current world snooker champion Paul Higgins has been suspended from all future tournaments amid allegations he agreed to take bribes to lose frames.

The News of the World has released a video of Higgins and his manager Pat Mooney apparently making a deal with an undercover reporter in the Ukraine to throw frames in exchange for €300,000.

But Higgins is denying the allegations and has released a statement saying he played along with the reporter because he feared he might be working for the Russian mafia.
