The head of the Eden Park Redevelopment Board is seeing red after allegations of high flooding risks were aimed at the Auckland stadium.

A Sunday newspaper says $9 million worth of upgrades to fix leaks, cracked welds on joints and reinforce support girders has been poured into the stadium.

It also says 400 panels of plastic cladding needed replacement costing of around $15,000 each.

Board chairman John Waller has told RadioLIVE he won't be commenting today, but a statement will be issued tomorrow refuting the claims.
