KiwiRail says it is trying to minimise the impact of staff sickness

Staff illness has affected Wellington rail services for a second day in a row.

There were delays again on the Melling, Kapiti, Upper Hutt and Johnsonville lines today and one train service has been cancelled.

KiwiRail says it is trying to minimise the impact of staff sickness by evenly spreading disruption throughout the Tranz Metro network.
