Emperor penguin Happy Feet has had a visit from entertainment royalty.

British actor Stephen Fry dropped in on the lost penguin at Wellington Zoo this morning, and uploaded a picture of the odd couple to Twitter.

Fry is in Wellington for shooting of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit. He has been cast as the mayor of Laketown.

Happy Feet, a wayward emperor penguin, was discovered on Peka Peka Beach seven weeks ago. He is currently being cared for at Wellington Zoo, where a live stream of his antics has delighted hundreds of thousands of viewers.

I think he will hunt live fish when he goes to sea. These fish are not alive and he is not swimming so it must be all foreign to him. He obviously caught fish before he landed on Peka Peka beach so once he is in the sea he will most likely do the same. He has got to eat to build his fat reserves so I suppose this is the only way to do it until he goes back to sea.
