Steven Spielberg picks up two Golden Reels

Steven Spielberg was the toast of the Motion Picture Sound Editors Golden Reel Awards on Sunday - his movies War Horse and Super 8 both landed honours.

War Horse triumphed in the category for sound effects and foley, while Super 8, directed J. J. Abrams, won in the category for dialogue and automated dialogue replacement.

The Muppets took gold for music in a musical film and The Adventures of Tintin was honoured for sound editing in an animated feature at the ceremony in Los Angeles.

Academy Awards frontrunner Hugo was recognised for music in a feature film, while director Martin Scorsese's project George Harrison: Living in the Material World came out top in the feature documentary category.

The TV adaptation of Games of Thrones won two awards, while Homeland and Grey's Anatomy were also among the small screen winners.
