Calendar Girls' ad might breach council rules

A banner advertising a new Christchurch strip club with the words "our biggest erection yet" may be removed for breaching council rules over how big is too big.

The two metre-wide sign advertising a planned Calendar Girls club appeared to breach rules on the size of outdoor advertising, Christchurch City Council inspections manager Gary Leman told The Press.

The $5 million windowless building was set to open on September 16.
