Strokes fans will have to wait even longer to hear the band's next album - the record has been pushed back by another two months.

The 'Last Nite' hitmakers were expected to release the follow-up to 2006's First Impressions of Earth in September, but the release was moved to January, 2011.

And now the album has been hit with another delay - frontman Julian Casablancas admits the currently-untitled record is still only "half-way done" and won't be ready until at least March.

He tells BBC 6 Music, "(It's) half-way done. We wanted to do it for months, or maybe a year now. And we keep thinking, 'OK, we'll do it, for like these three weeks and then we'll be done.' And then we do it and we decide that we're not done, or something comes in the way."
