Rachel Zoe wants women to get over their obsession with "wardrobe staples" and start buying everyday items that stand out.
The celebrity stylist - who is famous for dressing stars like Nicole Richie and Kate Hudson - is keen for ladies to purchase outfits which make a statement, instead of blending into the background.
On her website, rachelzoe.com, she said: "Honestly, the word basic doesn't really exist in my vocabulary - sure I have a favourite cut of denim and classic leather jacket never hurt anybody, but more often than not, I like my every day items to stand out."
Rachel has put together a list of the key 20-pieces every girl should have in their wardrobe and above all, she continues to champion the importance of the little black dress.
She said: "Wear as it is or rely on it as a base for your favourite layering pieces."
And when it comes to accessories, Rachel thinks every girl needs a boldly-coloured cocktail ring, adding: "Add a pop of colour to your everyday wardrobe with a go big or go home cocktail ring."
