Saturday was D-day. Dress day that is!
Me and Mum toddled off to Divine Wedding & Bridal for the *cough* third time to make a decision on The Dress. I'd agonised over the decision all week, and sought opinion from friends, family, colleagues – you name it! It’s a massive decision for every bride to be – which dress do you want to be remembered in for the rest of your life!?
Well with much to-ing and fro-ing and um-ing and ah-ing, and the next customer eagerly waiting in the wings, I finally made the decision.
I've ordered The Dress, and there's no going back now!
Without giving away too many details, its the complete opposite to anything I ever imagined myself in. Typical! And yes, I'll be wearing white...
Out came the tape measure (eek), and we put pen to paper, signed it all off and swiped the old credit card (thanks Mum) – it was as easy as that!
Now I just have to wait until the dress arrives in October, very exciting!
So now I've got a few months to shape up a bit (okay, a lot!), but more importantly it means I have a few months to find shoes, a veil and jewellery – more shopping!
And the lovely ladies at Divine said I could pop in any time to see the dress, if I was feeling unsure about it or had forgotten how amazingly beautiful it is! I suspect I'll be making a visit or two before January that's for sure...
Less than 8 months to go now, tick tock, tick tock!
