Opposition will be heard today against a 15-storey entertainment complex in Auckland which would include a brothel.

An Auckland Council hearing will discuss the proposed building by the Chow brothers which would also include entertainment options such as a disco, restaurant, hotel and offices.

The brothers' original plan to turn a historic building into a brothel was given the green light by the council, but the original building had to be demolished.

Those opposing the plan are now attempting to reverse the council's original decision.

The result is expected within two weeks.

The markets overpriced and overrated here, tourists would have to be pretty drunk or stupid to bother. In the locals wont be able afford the door entry ticket.
