Survey shows Kiwis' financial worries

Half of all New Zealanders are worried about their current financial situation, according to the latest Dun and Bradstreet consumer credit survey.

It shows nearly a third of people may struggle to meet their credit obligations in the coming months.

Dun and Bradstreet general manager  John Scott spoke to Firstline's Rachel Smalley this morning.

I am not surprised. The gap between rich and poor is getting bigger. Rates, insurances, electricity, food costs keep going up and income does not. A no brainer really, plus a gloomy global economic forecast for the next decade. The government should wake up.
