An explosion at a house in the Auckland city-fringe suburb of Point Chevalier has led to one man being arrested.
Emergency services were called to a property in Buxton St about 9am today after a report of a fire and explosion, a fire service spokesman said.
A decontamination unit was used at the property.
Local residents speculated on Twitter that a P-lab bust occurred at the property.
A man believed to be in the house at the time of the explosion was uninjured, and was likely to face drugs-related charges, the Herald on Sunday reported.
