Australian police have raided 11 properties in Melbourne as they investigate homegrown Islamist terrorism.
A joint operation was launched in connection with activities at a centre in the suburb of Springvale.
Police were also said to be looking for copies of an al Qaida-produced magazine called Inspire.
One man was arrested - a 23-year-old who is expected to be charged with collecting or making documents likely to facilitate terrorist acts.
Senior Constable Melissa Seach says the man is being questioned.
"Officers seized a number of items, including a USB (sic) containing violent, extremist material, computer equipment, imitation firearms and a number of registered firearms."
