2011 has been a tough year for swimming with internal ructions in the organisation as well as discontent amongst the high performance swimmers.
A shake up eventually led to the resignation of long time coach, turned high performance manger,Jan Cameron and swimming New Zealand is now reviewing all aspects of the sport.
But amidst all the unrest the swimmers have remained positive.
