Health officials have issued a warning after the death of a Sydney woman from meningococcal disease.
 
The woman died in Royal Prince Alfred Hospital after contracting the highly contagious infection during a holiday in New Zealand.
 
The Health Department is testing passengers who sat near the woman on her flight home.
 
Symptoms include leg pains, cold hands and feet, and a skin rash.
