Auckland police are hunting two men after the robbery of a TAB this morning.

Witnesses say the Mt Albert TAB was held up just after opening its doors at 9:30am.

The police helicopter was soon searching near the top of Mt Albert Reserve after dog walkers said they were almost run over by a speeding car.
