Incarcerated rapper T.I. treated his fellow inmates to a special surprise on Monday by arranging a free bus trip for their family members to visit.

The ‘Live Your Life’ hitmaker, real name Clifford Harris, Jr, is currently serving a 10-month sentence for a parole violation at the Arkansas Forrest City Correctional Facility.

And in a bid to help his jailed pals reconnect with their loved ones, T.I. invited dozens of the prisoners' relatives to board a special chartered bus in celebration of America's Memorial Day on Monday.

In a statement obtained by MTV.com, he says, "I've been blessed to receive tons and tons of mail from my fans, family and friends, as well as get visits on a regular basis. Unfortunately some guys aren't as fortunate. There are a lot of good dudes in here that haven't been able to see there (sic) loved ones in years. Their families can't afford the trip so I wanted to help out."
